Packaging Description: Budesonide cream is a white cream that is contained in tubes of 50 g.

The corticosteroid Budesonide, contained in the cream, has anti-inflammatory and vasoconstrictor activity with relatively few side effects. It suppresses inflammatory reaction and the symptoms of various diseases of the skin, often accompanied by itching without heal defects. The cream is contraindicated for lesions where there is weeping skin.
Indicated for skin lesions, which are not caused by microorganisms and are sensitive to corticosteroids but did not adequately respond to milder formulations. In these lesions are the usual psoriasis, the red lichen, the sclerosing atrophic lichen, the ANDREWS - BARBER syndrome.

It is also indicated for the treatment of severe or refractory cases in eczema treatment. It should be replaced with a milder steroid preparation immediately after the improvement of severe symptoms.
  • Skin lesions caused by:
    • Bacterial infections (eg pyodermatitides, syphilitic and tuberculin lesions)
    • Viral infections (eg, chickenpox, herpes simplex, herpes zoster, common warts, warts of the foot, warts and molluscum contagiosum)
    • Fungal infections and
    • Infestations (eg scabies)
  • Ulcerative skin lesions and wounds.
  • Side effects due to corticosteroids (eg, perioral dermatitis and atrophic white striations of pregnancy).
  • Ichthyosis, teenage plantar dermatitis, acne, rosacea, fragility of blood vessels in the skin and skin atrophy.
  • Hypersensitivity to corticosteroid or constituents of the excipients.
Apply a small amount of cream to the affected part of the skin once or twice daily. Intermittent treatment is recommended . If necessary, patches can be applied. Generally no more than 30 - 60 g cream to be used per week.
